Booster Board Responsibility

President — Leads the board, oversees projects, and serves as the main contact with coaches.

Time Needed: Meetings, events, and regular communication.

Vice President — Supports the president and helps with volunteers and projects.

Time Needed: Meetings, event support, and attendance at GCMABC meetings.

Home Meet Coordinator — Leads concessions, coaches hospitality, and volunteers for the home meet.

Time Needed: One home meet day (usually Thursday or Friday in mid-February), plus ordering concessions and coordinating volunteers from home.

Banquet Coordinator — Plans the team banquet, decorations, food, and awards.

Time Needed: Planning and coordination from home, plus a half-day onsite day of the banquet.

Senior Recognition — Organizes senior recognition for the home meet and banquet.

Time Needed: Planning and coordination from home before the home meet and banquet.

Meet Day Meals — Coordinates team meals for meets.

Time Needed: Meet days (or organizing alternate volunteers) and communication before meets.

Meet Day Snacks — Organizes snacks for athletes on meet days.

Time Needed: Meet days (around bus departure), plus occasional shopping and sign-ups.

Social Media — Posts updates, photos, reminders, and team highlights online.

Time Needed: Ongoing during the season, especially on meet days.

Most positions are flexible and do not require availability during the school day. Much of the planning and coordination can be done whenever it best fits your schedule.
